Panasonic VGA-Compatible Black & White MV Camera
GPMF802P Description
Square pixels
and full-frame image output in 1/60 sec.
The GP-MF802 is a high-resolution black and white industrial camera designed for
factory automation which adopts a 1/3” CCD with 330,000 effective pixels. Since
it provides an array of square pixels of equal vertical and horizontal
resolutions, there is no need to make any dimensional correction on the personal
computer side. The progressive scanning system, capable of delivering full-frame
image output in 1/60th of a second, allows precise still images of rapidly
moving objects to be obtained.
Progressive Scanning System
The GP-MF802 adopts two-wire output, and delivers a full-frame image in 1/60
sec. This progressive scanning system produces high resolution with more than
485 vertical lines, and lets you obtain clear images of moving objects.
Square-Pixel Array
In conventional CCDs, the pixels that sense brightness possess a rectangular
shape, which results in a different vertical-horizontal ratio and thus requires
corrections to be made on the personal computer side. The GP-MF802 works with
square-shaped pixels, and requires no such corrections. This feature translates
into easy signal processing and precise positional determination.
Supports VGA
In the GP-MF802, each pixel of the CCD corresponds to each pixel of the VGA mode
(640 x 480 resolution), on a one to one basis. Its design takes into account the
need for efficient signal processing.
Shutter Trigger Function
Comes with a trigger shutter function that releases the shutter at any timing in
interlock with an external sensor signal. A moving subject can be displayed in
any position on the monitor screen and image-processed with excellent
resolution.
Electronic Shutter Function
The electronic shutter offers seven speeds from 1/100th sec to 1/8000th sec.
Even fast-moving objects can be captured as sharp images.
Compact Design
The small, lightweight body measures 44 mm wide x 29 mm high x 82 mm deep*, and
weighs 165 g*. It fits into all niches available on manufacturing lines.
