DSR-2016 Description
Simultaneous Recording/Playback at 200 IPS (PAL) / 240 IPS
(NTSC)
The DSR-2016 offers the capability to smoothly record and playback movement at a
maximum rate of 200 IPS (PAL) / 240 IPS (NTSC). It also features two HDD bays,
enabling expansion of storage capacity up to 1TB.
Low Bit Rate but High Image Quality
MPEG-4 is capable of providing quality images at a low bit-rate. It is possible
to record for considerably longer than systems using JPEG compression.
Network
The DSR-2016 offers network connectivity with LAN and WAN. MPEG-4 is an
international standard for highly efficient digital encoding (compression) of
video and audio signals. This means it is also highly efficient for transmission
over a network.
DDNS (Dynamic DNS)
The DSR-2016 can be accessed with a fixed host name (e.g. sanyodsr2016jp), which
makes the network easy to remember, always available, and secure.
Standard Configuration Includes a CD-R/RW Drive
The DSR-2016 comes with a CD-R/RW drive and does not require additional devices
for backup images and settings.
Easy Backup (Only through USB 2.0)
Supports the use of USB memory. This makes it easy to backup still images in
JPEG format and video in AVI format.
Search Functions
Four search functions are available — â€Event Search†“Time / Date Search†“Time
line Search†and “Book Mark Search†— find recordings instantly.
