Sony PC Monitoring Software for up to 4 Cameras
IMZRS404M Overview
Intelligent Video Analysis
IP-based video security and surveillance offers outstanding performance, features and flexibility when compared with analogue CCTV systems. Installation and operational costs can be dramatically reduced, so
it's equally applicable to a single surveillance station with local monitoring, as a multi-camera, multi-site operation with remote monitoring. RealShot Manager V4 represents a new generation of management software; images are processed, analysed and archived in real-time, with many automated functions to reliably detect intrusions or incidents. In addition to the extensive, award-winning features of previous versions, Sony RealShot Manager V4 introduces Intelligent Object Detection (IOD) and Intelligent Motion Detection (IMD). Up to six filters can be configured and set to trigger alarms or perform a variety of other actions, such as locking doors or turning on lights. Active intelligence means crucial events
aren't missed - for example, a suspicious package being left unattended or movement outside of expected patterns. And when an alarm is triggered, an on-screen box appears around the suspicious object or person - making it immediately obvious what has caused the alert situation. These new features have the added bonus of minimising false alarms conventionally triggered by simple repetitive movements. RealShot Manager V4 features an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI), enabling simple and logical control over advanced features such as: Customised Graphical Site Layouts, Hot Spot and Dual Monitoring capability, Simultaneous Multi-Camera Playback and Rapid Playback following alarm trigger. When combined with the latest range of intelligent Sony surveillance cameras and storage devices, your network will offer state-of-the-art proactive performance.
IMZRS404M Features
Smart Monitoring with Intelligent Motion and Object Detection Filters
Defined and set by the user, these filters set parameters to trigger alarms or perform preset actions if a ?virtual environment? is violated against prescribed conditions.
Hot Spot Monitoring and Dual Monitor support
If an image on a specific camera is of interest, it can be designated as a Hot Spot and isolated for display on a secondary or other dedicated monitor.
Customised Layouts
The layout editor allows for site and floor plans to be graphically customised, and icons can be associated with specific cameras. Even company logos can be added.
Tour function
Allows for the automated and systematic monitoring of complex locations.
Camera control
Pan/Tilt/Zoom cameras can be remotely controlled over the network.
Privacy masking

Thumbnail preview with calendar recording including time/date and alarm events with the insertion of comments can all be enabled.
Playback while recording
Previously recorded images can be viewed whilst recording continues.
Simultaneous playback
Images from multiple cameras can be viewed simultaneously
Flexible Recording
Manual recording means authorised users can initiate a recording at any time for any camera with user defined image quality settings. Scheduled recording ensures any camera or group of cameras can have a recording schedule applied to them with virtually unlimited combinations available. Alarm and pre-alarm recording means images can be automatically recorded immediately before or after triggering external sensors or utilising motion detection functions of Sony cameras.
AVI file support
Promotes easy exchange of data with other applications.
User privileges
The system administrator can define security levels to manage multiple users.
Application Programming Interface (API)
Allows application developers and system integrators to control this software for use with other programmes e.g. alarm or access control systems.
Benefits
Improve operational effectiveness
Intelligent Video Analysis means crucial events aren't missed - for example, a suspicious package being left unattended or movement outside of expected patterns - while false alarms are minimised. When an automated alarm is triggered, an on-screen box appears around the suspicious object or person - making it immediately obvious what has caused the alert situation.
Future-proof your investment
RealShot Manager 4 is available in five versions - supporting 1, 4, 9, 16 and 32 networked video sources - so
it's designed to easily scale from a single surveillance station with local monitoring to as a multi-camera, multi-site operation with remote monitoring.
Maximise the return on your investment (ROI)
Increasing the efficiency of your staff with Intelligent Video Analysis will cost less than you expect. RealShot Manager 4 is a free upgrade for users of earlier versions and many existing Sony products can be upgraded to support it at no extra charge.
